About Growing in Grace Therapy
Meet the therapist
Hi there, my name is Rachelle Felix and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist (LMFT). Take a few minutes to explore a little about me and my approach to therapy.
I am a lover of fruit, a good funny joke, comfy clothes, and most importantly, my family. I enjoy watching sports (soccer is my favorite) with my husband, exploring new parks with my kiddos, watching a good rom-com or funny movie, and having deep, fun talks with my sister. I am passionate about psychology, the human mind and heart, and, more importantly, how I can help others grow.
My desire to support and challenge my clients deeply reflects my lived experiences, including navigating challenging life transitions, managing stress and anxiety, and expressing and processing emotions. Having a safe space to express, explore, and process life’s challenges has fostered resiliency and growth within me, which is why I created Growing in Grace Therapy. GGT promotes personal growth by utilizing grace to work through complex emotions, unhealthy thoughts, and unhelpful behaviors to live a fruitful life.
Therapy feels like a collaborative journey for my clients, where you are the most significant agent of change and narrator of your story. I highlight your inner strengths and help create a space of accountability and grace to challenge your capacity for growth and reach your goals.
My therapeutic work lies in working with individuals 13 and above, couples, and families who are struggling to manage their emotions and cope with symptoms of anxiety, stress and trauma. I also provide guidance in handling life transitions, maintaining healthy relationships, improving self esteem, and addressing generational and cultural challenges.
