What insurances do you accept?
I currently accept Aetna, Cigna, United health care, Oxford, Oscar.
I also can provide Superbills to be submitted to out of network insurances.

How long are sessions and how often do we meet?
Sessions are typically 50 minutes long. We often meet weekly or bi weekly depending on needs and wants. Session frequency is determined by symptoms, goals, and progress.

Do you meet with client's in person or virtually?
I currently meet with client’s virtually throughout California.

What happends after i submit a consultation request?
After submitting a contact form you can expect an email and or text within 24 hours. I will attempt to schedule a phone consultation to gather information regarding Your needs, challenges, and wants in treatment.
If we determine we are a good fit and you would like to processed with treatment, you will be sent an email with client portal access to complete intake documents and schedule your first session.

What does a typical session look like ?
The first 1-2 sessions in therapy may consist of a clinician gathering information such as presenting challenges/issues, history, family relationships/dynamics, and levels of functioning in areas of life (relational, school, work, social) to determine wants, needs and formulate treatment goals.
The following sessions could look like rapport building and getting to know one another, addressing immediate needs/concerns, exploring needs, wants, and goals, engaging in interventions and building skills and tools to improve mood, relationships, and manage symptoms.

What can therapy help with?
Therapy can help Increase self awareness, Identify/explore thoughts, feelings, needs, process past traumas and challenges, build emotional regulation and coping skills , build resiliency and greater tolerance for distress, engage in healthy communication with others, improve relationships with others, challenge and change unhealthy thoughts and behaviors, improve self esteem.
